PHILIPPINES: The World's Highest Canyon Swing

Travel in Bohol for a day and experience the most death defying activity in E.A.T Danao Adventure Park. Highlighting this outrageous activity might make you feel uncomfortable especially for faint hearted people but makes the fearless and undefeated try without hesitation.
Talking about Plunge or (Canyon Swing), a 70-meter free fall from the top of the 200-meter high cliff and said to be the highest in the world.
You’ll be swinging for about 5-7 minutes in 300-meter wide while enjoying the view of the cliffs and river. The staffs then will haul you back to the spot where you have been dropped off.
It was a full filling experience for me and my friends who also tried the same activity. You’ll receive a certificate for having completed a degree in fear management and surviving the challenges at Danao Adventure Park. It was quite funny but it was real. Your effort was paid off and they appreciated it. Not only Plunge but you can also try other activities such as sky ride (cable car), zipline, glass cliffwalk, river kayaking, caving, root climbing and many more.
Here's how to get there ( Plunge or Canyon Swing in Bohol ):
- From Cebu City, go to Pier 1. Look for MV Starcraft ticket booth/office located across the police station near the entrance of the port. Buy a ticket going to Tubigon.
- From Tubigon Port, take a tricycle going to McDonald's or where can you take a bus going to Sagbayan.
- In our case, we haggled the price for the tricycle going directly to Danao Adventure Park. We paid 1,100Php (good for 5 persons) instead of the hassle of commuting.
